    Yesterday started the Dead Eyes And rigging. It's a very time consuming chore. I wonder how models of yester years where made with out all the fancy super glues & carpenter glues that we have now. P/S I cheated And had to use piano wire to keep dead eyes in line . I tried to do that job the way the diagram said but I failed so I did it my way.

    Quite right Garth. Whatever works for you.
    This is one of the joys of modeling, ie. there are many different ways of achieving the desired end-result. The method adopted by kit manufacturers is not always the easiest or best way of making something, but probably the most economic.
    Do whatever suits you best.
