Garth! I almost picked up two of these from an "old style" hobby store I stumbled into for my giant C-2 Cargo ship. Their scale was just about right, but their age and construction was a bit off for a mid 20th Century ship...I think. Let us know how it goes!
๐๐ PS: Model Expo acquired Model Shipways in 1987. As of 2025, Model Shipways still manufactures kits in the USA for Model Expo and has become the US manufacturer for Mamoli and Dusek kits. Shipways used to be in NJ, but their factory is now in Miami. ▲

I betcha the parts are super delicate too work with too.
