Restoration is complete; at least to the extent it can be. I have to say this was a bit frustrating. It seemed like when one issue was fixed two others popped up in its place. Even then nothing seemed to be fixable to a clean solution. But enough grousing.
I think it turned out pretty decently for a mostly balsa boat from the ‘70s or ‘80s. The tension was to make repairs & corrections without losing all the patina of age. So, it still has some of the age & limited-skill bumps & bruises of the original construction.
The real plusses are it’s a dry boat & rides well in the water. I’m rather satisfied with the results.
