Started on a new "in between" model boat Vivace drawn by Glynn Guest.
I'll use a Chinese jet drive as designed by GG but with a minor modification 😁 Which is a BL Turnigy 3800KV 2627 running on 2S LiPo. (as I also did on my NQD Tear into Pro Mod.)

Find some ladies slip underwear made of rayon (artificial silk) and dissolve it in Amyl (Ethyl) Acetate. Voila Dope. This solvent is the one smelling of pear drops and is nicer to use for that reason.Don't pinch wife's best stuff. Other fabrics of this type might work too. Obviously test a sample first. Acetate sheet might work also. Make it as thick as you like.Cut bits small to dissolve more quickly. Other solvents may work but you need to test first.👍👍
Much easier to buy Deluxe Materials Ezekote. Krick carry it in Germany and most probably send to Denmark.
Don't get so many odd looks in the shop either 😲😉
But, Whatever Floats Your Boat 😁
Well done goofing around with the stockings 😁 (wife is ready to have me submitted to the loony bin 😎 and back to building, this is my first time with nylon stocking and epoxy. Think it looks great. Now one just have to wait for the epoxy to cure.

Some more progress during the last days.
I was not totally good with surface of the stocking so I gave it at thin layer of P100 and cleared the surface with 120grid paper.
I soaked the spray-rails for a few hours and pined them to the hull and left the to the next day, then glued them with 2K epoxy.
The total weight is now 562g, GG estimate that the perfect weight would be 800g.
Hope to have it watertight before April 7th, as we have the monthly day at the indoor pool at that date.

Well not finished yet but ready for the first water test, first test in the bathtub is promising but the pool is closed due to some breakdown, but hey they promise 15°c tomorrow so we will enjoy some bread and coffee at the lake and get it tested 😎
BTW changed the 2.2Ah LiPo to a 5.2Ah to get a better balance, weight is now 762g.

A became a very short test 🤔 The wind came from the worst possible corner today and were too strong so the model leaded over due tot he wind so not worth risking it too much, there will be another day 😎
