This is scratch build from a fireboat which I operate. it is Fire Boat 38 with the Charlotte Fire Department. I love boating and have always wanted to get into scale model boating. I feel like this is a unique boat and I want to make it as realistic as I can possible. Having never built a scale model boat I have a lot to learn. I have already running to some unique issues. I am having a tough time finding outboard engines. I love challenges. Just getting started.

I finally got the skin on the hull. I am giving It several coats of Epoxy Resin to waterproof It. Getting ready to paint but not really sure what type of paint to use. I am still trying to locate some outboard motors. First build going slow. Having to learn as I go. 🕊
