Vietnam Era PCF

Thank you, I appreciate the help, however, Frank's Mosquito Boats closed many years ago.

Getting a 1/48 scale plastic model is also an excellent suggestion. So far, except for very high priced ones on ebay I haven't been able to find one.

Thanks again

Vietnam Era PCF

I have scanned the detailed article on the PCF for you - but I strongly suggest you have a plan scaled up to the size you want by a printshop . I did have a small scale plan plus two scratch build articles and one each on the Deans & Caldercraft versions but there are plenty of pictures on the internet . The small scale plans are in the scanned article - please PM me with your email so I can send the scans.

Vietnam Era PCF

Revell have just issued a 1/48th version of the PCF - I have one of the original kits by a different manufacturer and might also have a plan somewhere for a slightly bigger version . Will have a check through my files tonight & let you know .

You could also have plans scanned & printed out at a larger scale at a decent print shop - very much doubt you will find any plans at 1/12th scale - that produces a 48in odd model - be a bit of a handful & rather heavy

Vietnam Era PCF

I would like to build a Vietnam Era gunboat called a Swift boat or PCF. Original was 50 feet, I would like it to be in 1/12 scale. Finding full size plans has proved difficult. Floating Drydock has plans in 1/16 but I haven't found any others. Help me out guys, any suggestions?
