this shows windows and lack of frames

If you look at the windows you will see the side windows in the sick bay and the engine room are just eyebrows and an opening no frames, on the inside they had plexie glass hinged at the bottom and a simple catch to hold it closed.
fire boat 93 had single eyebrows and 94 had them covering the two windows.
the windows to the rear of the cockpit where sliding perspex.
the front two side windows has sliding sections and seemed to have alloy frames, the front two side ones are opening hindgeded at the bottom and the alloy frames look to be on plywood frames with a hinge across the top and a flashing over the hinge. the centre window is a simple alloy frame fixed with a cleaview in it
the side eyebrows can be made from plasicard, and the same goes for all the rest as they are just simple frames with flush bolts so nothing would show.
I made mine opening by using a thin brass sheet but I am building one at 16 th scale so its smaller.
