I was following that thread before the plans came out so didn’t have to make much of a decision to start the build. I really like the over length frames to bond onto the building board.
Just need to finish a few other projects first, but as the Eventide will have its own building board I’ll probably make a start while waiting for glue/paint/varnish dry on the other boats.

Just wondering if anyone else is contemplating or building the Eventide in the January edition of Model Boats Magazine
As a fan of Maurice Griffiths boats I decided that this is going to be my first model built from plans, having previously built from kit and resurrected a few older boats.
I’m currently at the stage of planning, have made the templates and am in the process of cutting the keel from some 1/4” mahogany ply left over from redecking my vintage sailing canoe. Just drawing up the materials list to order next week.
