    Hi,

Not sure why you need the voltage reducer, the ESC will output 5v to run the receiver and servos.

The motor can connect in any order to the esc wires, if it runs in wrong direction just swap two of the wires over, unless your esc is programmable and you have programmer to reverse it.

    Good luck.

The lead from your ESC goes into the receiver, as your ESC contains a battery eliminator circuit (BEC), this will put 5.5v/6v into the receiver and the servos will pick up this power. You don’t need to do anything else.

    Good evening modelyacht builder
Due to my job travelling all over Europand Australia i had a hole in my knowledge of rc Equipement. No lamps but leds, no batteries but li onbatteries. I try to make up…
I m not using lead batteries any more but NiMH batteries, im not using the old fashioned speed controlers but ESC…
So it takes Γ  while to coop with thΓ© New technologies. But as it is your passion you learn fast

Nothing to worry about. Connect it all up and it will be fine. The esc will regulate voltage etc through the receiver. You have nothing to worry about on that side.

Just be careful with you're motor getting too hot. I'd run it for 5min then stop and see how warm it is. Depending on propeller it might be fine though a water cooled mount wouldn't be a bad thing.

Ps those esc's are brilliant and really proving themselves to be the go to these days

Good luck and look forward to seeing her on the water

    Good afternoon

What servo do you have? Also you're esc is water cooled but you're motor isn't? If you look at the Dollatek f540 brushless and esc combo it would be better suited. The esc is air-cooled and the motor has cooling fins.

In terms of hooking it all up it'll all be fine. Just connect the lipo to each to receiver and it will work
