Went to my first club open day today, a Father’s Day event at the Exeter and District Model Boat Club, and I went with my father, a lovely day out.
Here’s a few pics of some of our joint fleet, we had 7 between us, took the RTTL and Perkasa.
About 90 boats on display and lots of interested visitors, including some younger enthusiasts wanting to get building, nice to hear.
Also came home with more boats than I took as we won several raffle prizes including a DragonForce 65 and a 1/25 ETNZ 1M America's Cup Racing Yacht won by my mother but as it is too big for their apartment I have custodianship, so several evenings planned to get them sorted out.
