Model Ship "Sinks"

Looks like a well made boat just to sink very clever👍

Greg, what caught my attention was not only the dramatic scenes but the detail of the boat itself. Also, what let the water in was the explosion and severe damage following and seeing the water come inside the hull.
What Hollywood has done for movies this guy did for model boats.

Model Ship "Sinks"

Very good and dramatic footage.
Years ago at an R/C Regatta in Valleyfield Quebec the host Club staged a similar demo, using a small fireworks blast to ignite a fire, and trip a trap door valve in the ChrisCraft cruiser model which would sink to the deck line.
Kudos to all involved.

I don't normally post YouTube videos (other than my own) but this one is quite unique and well done.

The person built a sidewheeler (looks like it was made of cardboard), rather nice looking. Also an underwater mine to scale.

Needless to say the ship hit the mine. Video was made using multiple cameras (even underwater). I found this quite interesting.
