So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.

Congratulations Herman, to you and your club. Sadly I no longer have a passport so I can no longer travel abroad....
If it don't fit, use a hammer to make it fit....

gentlemen skippers
it is with tears in my eyes, of course of joy that i can announce that our model yacht club the"koninklijke model yacht club antwerpen" ROYAL MODEL YACHT CLUB ANTWERP" or K.M.Y.C.A. is one of the 4 oldest modelclubs in Europe.To celebrate this event we will organise an exhibition (as we are royal it will be in a castle of course) in the castle of Schoten which is just outside Antwerp. Our 3 divisions will be showing their models ( oldest and latest) and their expertise. The oldest is of course the boats ( electro and steamdriven) trains ( electro and steamdriven) and the lastest division is the lorries and they will lay out an inside track to show their models) Hereby you will find the invitation, no entrance fee.
If you plan to come and visit us give me a sign.
