    US Navy at sea on two ships one was minesweeper MSCO 59 Lorikeet the other DE 1040 Garcia. On Garcia is was in Enemy Counter Measures ECM. Visited Europe on this ship. Plymouth, London, Liverpool also Ireland, France. Spain, Portugal, Germany,Sweden, Norway and Gibraltar. I built models of both in large size. Now finishing more larger ships ( Dumas Crocket n Dumas Creole Queen) when I can. Love looking at you folks ship building techniques I learned a lot from this web site. Thanks

    Served in the US Army reserves and part of that time was in the transportation corps (the army's navy?). Spent time on board LCM5's and amphibious Larc5's (weird ride).
