I have just completed a Billings Absalon and decided to add sound to it. I found the 16channel SFX unit from Forge Electronics really easy to set up. It will hold 16 separate sounds and is controlled by "jabs" to the RC stick to select. There are various sites where you can download mp3 sounds and load them to the unit. It does come with whoops, guns and asdic already loaded

I’m well through my scratch build of HMS Javelin, a WW2 Destroyer. Can anyone with sound module experience point me in the right direction for a good system.
I’m trying to provide turret gun blast, pom-poms, whoop whoop, and possibly ping of the Asdic.
Many sound modules have engine noise as the main feature but I don’t need this for my Warship. I’d be grateful for any help.
