Welcome to the site.
I am assuming the model is complete bar the various fittings?
Super Glue will work fine with the fittings, the secret is to use the minimum required which is really very little. Both surfaces need to be completely flat and you will need to gently roughen any polished or painted surfaces to aid the adhesion.
Its usually best to paint all parts before adding the details as this will give a much cleaner finish to the completed model. I am assuming you have the original plan and instructions that show where all the parts are attached?
Perspex and super glue are not good together unless you have purchased a specially formulated suitable type. There is a very good canopy glue that will dry clear and can be obtained from most good model shops, it's mainly used by Aeromodelers to fix their canopys.
If you are intending to sail this model rather than complete as a static, it is best to sort out the electrics and power before adding the detail.
Hope this helps but please ask if anything is unclear.
Good luck

Fingers crossed someone out there will be kind enough to write out step by step Instructions for me. This Is at the top of my 'bucket list' of things to do folks, so any help would be appreciated. Cheers. Peter D
