First Boat Build in Progress

After a closer look, I'm not sure what scale she is!
Can't wait to see what she look's like when she's completed.

Hi metalikhajoe

I can't wait to see your build post! Yes, you can use mine as a reference! I think yours will be about 3/8" = 1' foot or 1:32 scale that's what mine is! have you figured out where your going to get you fittings from? or are you going to make your own?

Hello figtree7nts! Yikes! Im not sure about the scale but I just made my drawings 30 inches in length also by about 14 inches wide (breath) its almost 16 inches in height. Sorry I dont know the right terms but I will learn. Not sure how much she will weigh but its all in cardboard box for now. She would probably look very similar to your tug. thanks for the reply and the pix. Hope its ok if I use it as reference for my own build. Attached is the pix where Im basing my build.

thanks

Your Push Tug looks very nice! What scale is she? I built the San Pedro by Dumas inc. She's a 1:32 scale boat LOA is 30" her breath is 12" and her draft is 3.5" and she weighs 21lbs.

First Boat Build in Progress

Hello everyone! just starting on my first tow/pusher tug boat. planning to build this from scratch. found a pix of a boat dat I wanted and came up with this. Not much details on it yet but its always good to start somewhere.Laser cut cardboard box material for now. will use marine plywood once all details and proper measurements are ok.
