Hi Dave I am utterly lost I have no idea how to cut and paste let alone a URL ! I will be going thro the links/sites suggested but a blog could be a long way away. I tend to look thro ideas turn them over pick out the best bits suitable for the application and my dexterity.

I do believe onetenor was having problems using the URL addresses posted in this blog and elsewhere on the site. Advice on copying and pasting has been given in another post, and even better Stephen (Fireboat) is altering the website coding to allow automatic recognition of URLs so the problem will disappear.
Hopefully the very useful links suggested will help you decide how to proceed with your boat. A build blog would be welcome.

I intend to use the boat as I haven't seen any hydrofoils on the pond but plenty of fire boats. Are there any plans available?

The only other that may suit that sort of hull is a Russian Hydrofoil Fast Antisubmarine Ship

I have just had a set of plans printed for a hydrofoil.

But for speed and lightness I was going to use plastic.
