I made a simple L bracket from 2mm aluminium with a slot cut out for the keel and the required holes for the motor.
Glued down with epoxy glue, is has work very well with the 1900kv 750 watt motor.

If you ordered a 30Amp ESC they only handle up to 3S.
The 60Amp and 100Amp handle up to 4S.

The program card makes for a very easy setup and I can give you all the setting I use. the only change is from 3S to 4S and all the other settings stay the same.

Hi canabus, many thanks for the guidelines 👍 I'll check them out and compare with sources here in Germany.
I already have some 3S 4000mAH accus. About 300gm but I figured the boat is so light empty it could manage that, mounted fairly well aft.
Motor: I had been thinking along the lines of around 400kV, 1000kV max. So your suggestion fits 👍 Had hoped to avoid prog. cards for the ESC but Hey Ho - needs must ...!
Already have such a prop in my collection so that's good 😊

Motor propdrive V2 2830- 1000kv 370watts 3.175mm shaft(9190000328-0)3S or 4S lipo battery.
ESC 30A car(HK-30A)( XT60 connectors required), program card (HKPROG-CARD)can be used on the larger ones in the series.
Lipo battery Turnigy 1000mah 3S 30C (T1000.3s.20) 89grams 75 x 33 x 19mm or a Turnigy 1500mah 3S 25C (T1500.3S.25) 113 grams 80 x 34 x 25 mm both have XT60 connectors.
Prop about a 2 blade 30mm 1.4 pitch.
