DRAGONFLITE 95 RIGGING

Thanks Dave. I am in a club but wanted to try and complete myself, but it looks like that might not be possible. I'll wait for delivery and then look at all the bits and pieces.

DRAGONFLITE 95 RIGGING

Hi Les
If it's anything like the RG65 it will be difficult to tie the knots and attach all the fixed and running rigging.
Had a quick look on the web and see there is a Facebook site where you have already posted.
I suspect it may be clearer when you receive your kit as the instructions for the RG65 were good, just very fiddly. There was a plan of the rigging but possibly on a separate sheet to the instruction book.
An Amazon customer posted a review claiming 3hrs a day and took 3 days!
If you are near a club you best bet is to seek a fellow yachter who will explain all the terms and help you rig correctly. it will sail better if correctly rigged.
This would appear to be another new venture by Joysway but does not comply with the IOM or other classes.
Cheers
Dave

DRAGONFLITE 95 RIGGING

DRAGONFLITE 95 RIGGING:
Anyone got any close up photographs of the rigging details on the Dragonflite 95 yacht. I'm getting paranoid now I won't know where all the wires and ropes go. And my understanding is their location and specific tension, along with the correct angle, is all paramount to the yachts sailing success.

Although I haven't received the yacht yet, I downloaded the manual and as I anticipated, its double Dutch to me. There doesn't seem to be a section actually showing you the layout and positioning of these parts. Thanks in anticipation. I'm honestly a beginner and stupidly hopeless at DIY.
