Hi Ed, welcome to the club! 😊
In my case it's lacquer fumes, despite the extractor/filter in the spray booth - and guess who forgot his face mask 😡
Anyway the (I hope) final lacquer coat on the cabin walls is presently hardening under the halogen lamp, then polishing with cutting compound.
Getting there😉
BTW: Odd, I get notifications of yours and my post but nothing else!!??
Cheers Doug 😎

Left click on the Adobe image then on 'Download' that appears top left.

The Andrews 'Whirlwind' sail winch was the winch of choice to many of the Marblehead fraternity in the late 70's early 80's.
The winch pictured is indeed a 'Whirlwind'. 👍

Thanks fellas I knew someone would have information on this.

I am still trying to figure out how to run the sheets. This was never set up like the way shown in the attachments.

Sometimes I think it would be far easier to set it up using Servo Arms as shown in the second attachment.

Last photo is not clear to indicate sailing set-up as the system had broken parts. This photo was used in the for sale advertisement.

Sail Winch Servo Identification

Sorry for the information in my previous reply, I've managed to translate some of the info found on German site, it appears that Mr Andrews actually designed and marketed the sail winch servos which were used by the 1991 1mtr world champion. So far this is all I found but will keep looking. Cheers Colin.

It appears that Mr DH Andrews purchased a model yacht in 1991 that fits the description. But he no longer lives at that address. I found this information on Google. The yacht came from Germany but I couldn't read all the details. Hope this helps, cheers Colin.

In a Marblehead Sailboat the sail servo has a sticker on the side. It reads:

D.H.Andrews
48 Aberdale Road
Leicester, LE2 6GE
England

The Servo is glued in the plywood base so the phone number cannot be read.

The Servo indentification number is missing.

Can anyone assist with identifying this Servo, and who D.H.Andrews is?

This Marblehead Sailboat built and purchased in Toronto,Ontario, Canada.
