I have found out today that the engine in the boat was a Type 37, a 1500cc single overhead cam 3 valve per cylinder 4 cylinder of about 60 horse power.

Anyone looking for a different build could do worse than this beauty. I found these drawings at the Pitsea Museum and, as the local council crooks were throwing the museum away in favour of mud huts, I stole them to save them.
Powered by a Bugatti 1500cc engine. So many British boats were designed for 1500 cc car engines, but a Bugatti one?? That's a bit classy.
