Night Watch
Hi Sub. Ken, nice to hear from you. I've only gone out , unhappily, for the regular twice a week hospital visits. Alice, apart from taking me there, ventures out for shopping once a week, but that's it.
Veronica is looking good, that's a very nice mast case you've made. My stumpy is coming on, I fitted the shrouds last night but with hospital today, haven't felt up to doing anything. I've made the mainsail and have the foresail ready to sew. At the same time, I'm building a Dutch Schouw. About 28" long. Hull virtually finished. I bought a couple of books on Dutch barges in Barcelona many years ago, they contain the lines of all the different Dutch barge types and I've built her from that.
One of these days, with any luck, we might even get to the lake again.
