Well drspock,
At least you have managed to post your first photo of her on the site.

From what i can see you have done a good job.
I hope we will get some updates as you go along.

Hi Martin, this is the best I can do at the moment, and I'm still not sure how I did it!

What i do is drag my photos onto my desk top on my computer.
Then i open up the post that i am working on.
Click the photos/files cross +.
then drag the photos from the desk to to the upload photo bit, then click Done.

You can drag more than one photo.

Hi Rick,
Is what the name suggests, very flexible strip wood that needs no further treatment to bend it. Good luck.

I am building the Vintage Model Works 46" crash tender, and with the aid of Robbobs build log,it is going pretty well.
I successfully steamed the gunwhale and chine stringers. However, the rubbing strakes would not have it!
I have seen a passing mention on this site of flexible beech, and looked at a couple of suppliers;the price is a bit frightening compared to obeche strip, but I ordered some.
What a revelation! It is ridiculously bendable! Job done.
I am reluctant to advertise anyone who has cost me money, but have to give others the chance to avoid hours of unnecessary grief! There are two suppliers, and both are low on stock at the moment, but Cornwall model boats are very reasonable with postage, which makes the price more palatable!
