    Turnigy and Frsky do very reasonable 6 channel sets for less than ยฃ50. I have both and have no problems with either. Look at the Hobbyking web site to see them.

    Hi Caretaker,

    Howes in the UK are pretty good price wise, I've included the link to the volantex 6 channel set that I've just bought and waiting for the postie to deliver ๐Ÿ˜Š, you get a lot for your money and there's not a lot of difference in price between this and the 2 channel sets, plus you get a 7 channel receiver with this as well. My main reason for going for a 6 channel set is that like yourself I'm just starting off and I want to future proof my purchase by having as many options as I can

    I am very new to the hobby and have started to build a boat, aero naut Diva.
    I have finished the hull but thinking what Radio I will need, it will have to be cheep say up to ยฃ50 what to look for as don't wont to get one that will be no good with other members,
    any suggestions welcome.
