"What do you expect in the harbour? "
    Ships my boy. Ships!😁
Mainly pics of the finished article, use the ones you posted here.
Plus a few lines on the build and maybe pics of essential stages / snags.
I think in the case of this ship we can dispense with the history of the vessel!😊
Here's a pic of my Mayflower, no not my work. Picked it up in a market in PortimΓ£o Portugal JFFπŸ˜‰ And a pic of Mayflower II before her refit.
    Cheers, Doug 😎

If you are unsure about what to put in your Harbour take a look at other members Harbours to give you an idea.

Here is my attempt at building the Mayflower from a kit.
The planking was a bit tricky to get right but the hardest thing was getting the sails and rigging right. The number of sheets (ropes) is unbelievable hence the saying "getting to know the ropes"
    It was a fun build.
I do have more build photos if members are interested.
    Great display item.

Great story, so pleased she was not allowed to deteriorate as so many other ships have been allowed to do. She does look good sailing and it sounds as if the restoration has made her look better than ever. I remember seeing her before she sailed to Plymouth in 1956.

    Cheers, Nerys

When the winds before the rain, soon you may make sail again, but when the rain's before the wind, tops'l sheets and halyards mind

A superb restoration of the sailing ship, Mayflower II has just been completed, the cost was over 11 million USD and took over three years.

Originally Mayflower II was built in Brixham, Devon, England in 1955 and gifted to the Americans by the British in 1957.
