Resin to card stock?(styrene). CA will do that job. I would probably suggest the thick version which will give you a tad bit more time for alignment.

BTW......”Project Farm” also has postings on testing CA and aliphatic glues.

There is a you-tube posting called “Project Farm”....one of his post is comparing different epoxy types and brands. He is quite subjective in his test, and not sponsored by any manufacturer. Have a look....he is open to test most anything you suggest.

As everyone says, a two part epoxy for joining wood to other materials. I have been using 'Bond Together' from Poundland perfectly successfully for some time. Curiously it is only £1 per pack, but it works.

All as have been previously posted. I would add G-Flex epoxy for dissimilar materials, especially those that will not be effected by some heat generated during the cure. -Flex does not sag as regular epoxies do.
An added comment, do not use CA or super glue for adhering windows to frames. It will fog clear styrenes.
White glue( PVA) for wood to wood, slow but old school.
Lastly, as mentioned, try to understand the stresses that your joint will be under and plan your glue to deal with it accordingly.

Hi Carpcruncher,
I always use a 2 pack epoxy for fg to wood. The brand doesn't matter but a slow setting one will give more flexibility and not crack.
Cheers Colin.

Hi Carpcruncher,
I think you have opened the floodgates now. LOL!!
You will get some great advice regarding adhesives.

So i will add to your request, I use two part epoxy for wood to fibreglass (Araldite).

Good luck with your Tug Portgarth.
Will you be doing a build log ?

You will get a lot of good answers to your glue needs.
I use Gorilla wood glue mostly.
"Goop" is another I use when cured remains flexible joins many materials together.
Two part epoxies (5 min) may be used to join parts. The epoxy heats when curing and may distort items in curing.
I believe La Pages has a canopy glue that dries clear for windows .
Hope this helps some.
