Have a look for the Dec 1980 issue of Model Boats - there is a very in depth build feature of a Rother class - but not of the David Metcalfe version you are looking at. If you cant find will scan the pages for you later. Send me a PM if you cant find one on the mag site or eBay. Unfortunately not a build I have scanned before.

Its the old David Metcalf kit they bought the rights to - should think they have stuck to the original design so it should be a good one Cargo. Not sure if there was ever a review of this particular kit - will have a scratch through my files.
