    This one was bought as an unfinished project from FaceBook Marketplace. She's now built as RTTL 2748, as she was in the 1950s when in service at RAF Mountbatten in Plymouth.

    Nice one and good to see.

    I remember RAF Mountbatten very well.
    I used to live at Hooe and the next door Neighbor was an RAF Sgt on the boats.
    He used to take me into the base regularly.
    Great days,long gone sadly.If only I had taken lots of pictures,hindsight!!
    My Dad remembered the Sunderland flying boats there.
