Finally got a proper kit for this submarine! It is hard to find, but quite special both in general, as for me: They were made at 2 locations in Germany during WW1. Made so that once made could be taken apart again in large chunks that would fit on a cargo train. Some were transported to Mariupol in today's Ukraine, and reassembled there for mission in the Mediterranean. Some were shipped to Hoboken-Antwerpen Belgium (where i live nearby :p ) reassembled in the docks of the Cockerill company there. Put on a float, ferried down the river Schelde to seaport of Zeebrugge where they did missions in the North sea.
The model is a scale 1/30, 3D printed in ASA plastic. Wonderful material, finicky as hell to print, but once done it has wonderful retention of details and is very sturdy.
    Work in progress...

The kits from rcsubs.cz consist of the 3D files for the hull, the blueprints, PE sheets with details and other bits for things like masts, deckguns etc...
And they also offer to print the parts for you. That way it really isn't much different from a Revell or Robbe kit.

    Denko,
That is a very interesting subject.
I wonder what it's capability was, diving depth and other specifications?

When you have to print the submarineโ€™ hull, what does the โ€˜kitโ€™ consist of? Printing software and other parts? Just curious. ๐Ÿค”
