    I have just found out that the really tugs name was Frederic Mistral. Still runs after 100 years. The crew had Chickens in the cage at the bow & sometimes carried pigs in the pen at the stern end was used to make a little extra cash at the ports they went to. This model was a static had to do a lot of modification to interior to make the tug a R/C runner.

    Yes, this is a great looking model. I built one but stopped when I had trouble with the rudder chain. The chain runs along the deck on the innerside of the gunwale. There are a series of pulleys along the edge of the deck to keep the chain in place. However I could not find a way of reducing the friction and with the chain being so fine it kept breaking.

    I also modified the various components to follow the real tug' look. Last I looked it was on the Danube in Austria. It has a rich history and was involved in both WW's.

    This RC model is very beautiful; It would be interesting to see other photos, from above, of the details, of the electrical part, of how to access the hold, etc. etc. I also like RC navigation videos, have you already made any?
