About this boat
I have really enjoyed building this little boat. The painting, as always, I found a challenge. I am really pleased with the performance and the finished result. It has taken me around six months to build only being able to fit time in around a busy work schedule. Looking forward to the next one now.

There are at least two guys on here who have built and tackled Bristol Pilot Cutters.
MTurpin for one I believe. Maybe also Jarvo and/or Graham?

Would like to be able to get pictures as good for my two I have one the first rc boat I built the 2 second the raf fire tender courtesy of Marky I have a 1/16 scale sailboat Bristol channel pilot cutter needs finishing but it the setting up of the sail workins that's holding things up and no one for advice.

There are two videos of her running. One on the last entry in the build blog taken in the evening and the other entered as a media file. She went really well I thought. 😊
The Dusseldorf is ready to start. I am looking forward to all those electronics. I may be calling😂. I start when I get home.
I see you used lots of the 'secret ingredient' on her.
Especially drillin' all them 'oles in the tread plates 🤣

Above is the address for the Pilot Boat build blog. I will complete it with my overall conclusions of this model.
I have the next model ready to go. It is the Robbe/Krick Dusseldorf Fire Boat. I hope to utilise 16 channels to get everything possible working. I start on Saturday so long as the Boss has not left me too long a list of chores to do.
I also have the 46" Crash Tender from VMW to do but I think I will wait a little for this one so that I can give it the time it deserves........and to wait for Mike to finish his so that I can see how it should be done and try some of his tricks.😊
I like the photos especially the one at sunset with her lights on full blaze.
