Only another 2 weeks before the Midhurst Modellers Show. What other Southern/South East Clubs are attending this year ?
Look forward to seeing you there, as usual Basingstoke Model Boat Club will be there with our boats.

The current Chichester Canal Model Boat Group would love to attend to exhibit but have a technical Problem.
We are a group of fellow modellers with a good variety of boats between us.
The problem is we are a group and not a formal club which suits us as we have an agreement for use of the canal with rules agreed with the canal trust but the Midhurst show requires insurance for display of static models which as a group of individuals we do not have. As a group we have no funds or assets and have no requirement for insurance.
Any Suggestions? We don't want to be a club with agms committees and all that guff.

Of course it is in a new venue now to that in 2001 although on the same site. Lovely new building and plenty of parking.
I can recall most of the Southern clubs that regularly attend the event but haven't seen Chichester for a while. If you are around why not drop in.

Last time I went to the Modellers Exhibition in Midhurst, was 2001. We, Chichester Model Boat Club use to attend this venue each year.

The 38th Annual Modellers Exhibition will be held at The Grange Centre, Bepton Road, Midhurst, Sussex GU29 9HD on Sunday 9th February 2020. This is a great exhibition in the South where many Model Boat Clubs attend displaying a great array of their boats. For the train enthusiasts there is a large hall with fantastic displays and trade outlets.
