Why is this show not advertised on 'The UK Model Shop Directory' ?
Red Budd
I have checked with the organisers and the show opens at 10am on both days and is set to close at 4pm on Saturday and 3pm on the Sunday. However these times may be extended if it is very busy.

When the winds before the rain, soon you may make sail again, but when the rain's before the wind, tops'l sheets and halyards mind
I've looked at their advert in Model Boat and their website but there is no mention of opening times. My guess would be 10am to 5pm. Perhaps someone from the organisers could corroborate.

Thanks for your reply. I will have a look at the boat magazine and I will google.
Hi Robert,
There are several suppliers for RNLI kits, but I'm afraid I'm not up on them. Look at the adverts in Model Boats magazine. Try googling. Sorry I can't help on this one. Several members have built them, they are very popular. Even try posting on here asking where is best.

Hi Robert,
I plan on being there too but as I have kidney dialysis in my local hospital on a Saturday evening, finishing at 10pm, it means driving to Blackpool straight from there. Arrival in Blackpool, say 6am, means we should find space in the car park and get a few hours shuteye. At least, that's how I hope it will work out.
Cheers, Nerys
