I am building a fairey huntsman 31 which is 63 inches long, since having 4 strokes maths is now my weak point,has anyone got a drawing plan or picture of the cabin, also can some work out the size of seats I could have done it before but cant now and it is so hard sorry to bother you

Got this boat about 3 weeks ago could not beleave the price i won it for £26.01 its 63 inchs long (5feet 3inchs)the guy that started to build it had passed away it had be in a damp shed for 3 or 4 years.The cabin top was half fitted and when i fitted it the cabin was twisted. All so the couriers had damage it around window frames,but i wanted to keep it as it was so repaired the damage and did not replace it.After lots of wet towels and wifes old micro wave a few swear words when i burnt myself i manage to untwist the cabin.A lot of you might not like the planking i have done but i wanted it to stand out.I used styrene over the repaired window frames so it would be easyer to paint them and to make them a little stronger.Cabin now planked a wood strip to fit between cabin top and deck to stop splashes getting into the hull.I have had 4 strokes so my brain works a little diffrent now and maths is one thing i have lost.If any one has a copy of fairey huntsman 31 1/6th scale to sell please let me know as it would help a great deal any spelling mistake i will say sorry for now here are so photos of where she is at now.I say she as i am going to call the boat LADY LUCY after the old boys daughter also going to put brass plate on with built by tom as he did build most of it and its a nice way to remember him

no I mean I can get on the web site page 2 is were fire boat plan is listed but it is only boat with no picture next to it as soon as I click on it message says deleted

hi guys got a load of model boat magazines 240 so if any one know of a model they looking for I can check if I have it. Every plan is with each copy with build related information I can scan and email them to you for free the years are as follows 1976 to 1995 so 19years of issues also got model engineers workshop magazines not all issues but a lot 81 in total I'm no engineer so if useful I can let you have them free you just sort out postage. plus lots of yacht magazines and books will list them later free also just postage.If you need any printed copy of model boat magazines plans then just postage and a bit towards ink will go over them in next few weeks and list every plan I have hope it helps some one mike

HI Dave thanks for replying lucky enuff best man at my wedding owns a big farm with big deep lake he's ok about ic engines,but might go brushless way but need advice on rudder and propeller too surface or submerged twin or single rudder I'm open minded as I know nothing about this and you guys do thanks again bud mike 👺

Hi guys and lasts new to rc boating but got the bud bad.I had 4 strokes 3 years ago when I used to build custom motorcycles so now into rc boats got 36 which I'm rebuilding 20 of which 3/4 done.so I might be asking for advice from time to time.I'm a sprayer so if I can be of any help to any one please feel free to ask I'm always will to sort out paint problems.Great site and you all seem friendly.Right now I've said hi back to topic my F1 She is 47inchs long by 20wide big gal wooden main frame and ply skin gel coated over so heavy about 10kg I've got a few engines I can used but need you advice what you might use,30cc water cooled marine 2 stroke,cmb 90 merco 61, or electric scooter motor 120 watt 24 volt dc motor she came with no canopy which I had to make and rear mounted rudder single.submerged propeller middle mounted.which engine or motor would you use,surface mounted propeller or submerged twin mounted rear rudders,and rough size tweak later any advice greatfully received.sorry for going on at length mike. engine is 61 merco
