Looking for a model of this craft either in kit form or ready built in any size up to 36 inches, but no less than 16 inches. Must be RC ready or convertible to RC. Any information really appreciated!

Coupling Miss Doris with the DS 30 in preparation for testing on the pond. The cables and anchor pins seem to be working, but the barge still needs work.

Just purchased a new transmitter/receiver for my present build. This came with wg
hat appears to be a sort of lanyard with a plug on the end and a sort of small wand attached. There is no mention of this in the manual or of it's purpose. Any help would be appreciated. My original setup did not have this.

Would like to know more! When will your next event take place and do you want visitors? Have a Dumas San Pedro pushboat operating and am in the process of completing the Dumas Army tug.

Am considering changing my Dumas pushboat San Pedro from single motor control to twin control to improve manueverability. I also plan on installing flanking rudders at the same time. I am going for a 6 channel transceiver setup. Have not been able to find any diagrams for what is needed or wiring involved. Any assistance would be gratefully appreciated!

Took time out from my new build to test float the barge I am building for my push boat to give it a long awaited float test for leaks and to mark the waterline. First decent day this winter!

This is the Dumas US Army tug kit showing the two hull halves being glued together, I hope to modify the model to replicate the tug I was Petty Officer in Charge of while in the Navy!

Just finished adding a crews quarters and pump engine house to the stern of my barge, then added the necessary bitts for stern pushing.

Checking for size comparison and scale! The barge is 50 inches long by 12 inches beam, will draw 2 inches light and 6 inches loaded. I plan on making it an oil tank barge with a swiveling boom and two deck houses aft for the pump engine and housing for crew.

Scratch building a barge for my tugboat Miss Doris to push. May deck it over to become a tank barge I used to push on the Delaware River. if
i do deck it over, I'll hinge the deck to make use of the space for my RC gear.

The name is derived from my mothers name and that of a similar tug I captained for 12 years, on the Delaware River and Chesapeke Bay.

The model is the Dumas El Pedro 30 inches length, 12 inch beam, drawing 4 I inches, which should change with more ballast. My mates suggest a barge is necessary so I am attempting a scratch build with leftover ply from other projects. Comments welcome!
