I used "purple meths", for making my epoxy runnier, and I can tell you, that it works perfectly and , no, it doesn't make any difference in colour to the finished layers.

I ordered some Β£90 worth of kit from HobbyKing and didn't have a choice of couriers, they shipped via FedEx.
Two weeks after delivery I get an invoice from FedEx for customs and import tax of Β£34................made my Β£90 worth as dear as buying in UK.
It has now made me very wary of them.

Search e-bay for "micro pipe bender", quite a few on there, differing from 3mm - 12mm benders varying in price from Β£10 up.

Short answer no you can't charge in parallel , which is what you are proposing with a y lead ....but if they are the same capacity (Mah) you can charge them is series....all to do with the resistance in each cell.
Some more here....

π Website info on Crash Tenders too blurred

I totally agree Martin, I have just tried the "snipping" tool to get a better look, but still very blurred.
It seems pointless to have a pic of them on the site, if you can't see anything of any use.

double pole, double throw switch.
connect battery to centre pair of terminals, esc to one end and battery charging plug to the other side.
switch in centre is off....switch one way, powers the esc, switch the other way and only the battery is connected to the charger......esc is isolated.

How about a servo inside that swings a weight from side to side?
swing it to port the boat, very slightly, moves to port..
but would the GPS system be accurate enough?

gorilla also do a non foaming wood glue, available from all good gorilla stockists, with good water resisting properties.
also gorilla "normal" is 100% waterproof.
another good glue to use on woods is Alaphatic resin.

I would have thought that ANY device connected to the rudder would be a no no.
You could have anything you want to get the boat to it's target, BUT as soon as it is connected to the rudder? NO sir, not cricket and the rules do state......"According to clause 1(6) it prohibits R/C or similar controls"....note the use of the word .. "controls".
nice try. and it still would be an interesting thing to see done, but not in competition.
