I have recently finished a sea queen and I took out the pins and filled the holes. in the past I once left a couple of pins in and I could always see the mark as it appeared raised. 😊

HI Kriz thanks for your comments about sea queen its nice when someone comments after loads of work. you say you are a novice but we all start somewhere and this was only my 2nd build. it took nearly 2 winters to complete and the build was good as aerokits are great quality and good instructions. go for it 😊 you will never look back 😊

The I.O.M. is a great boat to sail and mine is getting on a bit and not very competative these days. Cost of new boats has become a very expensive so I am happy with mine. (5/10)

HI Dave I am not sure if the sea queen was supposed to be a sea going motor boat or a norfolk broads type cruiser. if it is a cruiser then the detail will be far less.

This kit was from westbourne models and they supplied all other bits as well. Build was quite good but some of the fittings a bit naff. Looking now to finish cockpit now I have tried it. (Motor: Standard 800) (ESC: Himark Marine ESC) (9/10)
