I build subs and have had more than my share of questions. I have found Bob Martin at Nautilus Drydocks.Com to be a great source of knowledge. Contact him at sales@nautilusdrydocks.com.
Hope this helps.

I build model subs and get a lot of support from Bob Martin at Nautilus Drydocks.Com. I am not sure what question you are trying to get answered but Bob's probably able to help

You didn't indicate wtc size. If wtc is short you may need a small (3 pack lipo) to accomodate the wtc length. My Kilo (39") uses a 3 pack.

If you are talking about a pump to blow a ballast tank, I use a micro pump from Nautilus Drydocks. Cost about $15usd + shipping.

Good advice! I know Bob Martin very well and have been to his site often. Just trying to find alternative suggestions to how best "seal" WTC end caps.
If you are familiar with wtc's you know for several reasons we need to open an end cap after each submergence. This creates a possible leak source
when resealed.
To prevent leakage I open an end cap only to make internal repairs. I charge the battery and remove any accumulated wtc moisture without disturbing end cap seals.
Took some doing, and with a great amount of help from a fellow Submarine builder but the system works very well.
If any one reading this wants some detail, I will be glad to answer questions.

The chances that you will not need to reposition hull sections are about nil. CA tends to be permanent.
If you feel you want to use glue, use something removable.

I just had an air/water micro pump (used to blow ballast water from a model submarine) sustain a water leak that made it fail. Replaced it for about $20 usd but spent two days dissecting how the pump worked. I learned a lot. Very satisfying and isn't that why we build boats?

Tend to agree with blackshoe, persue solutions for the knowledge you gain, but buy a new motor.

I use a micro air/water pump on my subs to blow ballast tanks on model submarines. It is very small and is equally able to pump air or water. Cost about $15 usd at NautilusDrydocks.Com. Might be worth taking a look to see if it will work for you. Search for micro pump in the shop section of web site.
Hope this helps,
