โ›ตHi ,Firstly what scale is your Fairmile .I have 24th scale Fairmile D which it is approximately 56" which is for 4 shafts i would love to have completed and run it but was made redundant so now only have a small car and cant transport it to our pond in Aberdeen.i did run it on 2motors to 4 shafts with belt drive 12v gel batteries and got a long run time with 1 12v 7amp that was just the bare hull .so i know it can work that way .i took all the motors and shafts/rudders out to use in a smaller boat but have yet to find a smaller version .i am actually wanting to sell this Fairmile i have plans and hardware if you know anyone that would be interested i check the website daily .cheers

ref HELLERMAN SLEEVES ETC HELLERINE OIL AND PRONGED TOOL ,AFTER MY RAF JOB 12YRS(COOK) I CHANGED TRADES STORES IN AVIATION (HELICOPTERS) I still use hellerine oil for helping Heatshrink onto tight cables and still have roll of waxed string ,I learnt a lot from avionics engineers
    Cheers,tugboatcliffโ›ต
