JaT

Just a Thought
The needle roller bearings on the Chinese propeller shaft not the best. leaking like sieve, an extra grease trap could be the ticket Col

Another JaT

Another Just a Thought.
The puffer is very small , my hand isn't that large, Okay a tad on the small side , even with my small hands I couldn't work inside the hull, so I have modified the deck, so I get better excess, now that's better.
It looks like a new day a new problem.
The under deck lay-out .
The plans for this model calls for a very short prop shaft and the motor and rudder servo mounted together under the wheelhouse , the prop shaft is a tad longer than required by about 25mm this is causing no end of problems, so what should I do ?
'A' buy a longer shaft and redesign under the deck.
'B' custom make a short shaft
'C' turn the Puffer into a static model
if I go for 'C' propeller shaft won't be an issue and the Mk II would soon be on the board, larger with extra detail . Col

Camouflage and size test

I have 3D printed a few 44-gallon drums that I will use as camouflage on the deck where I have done a modification .
This is also a size test for image detail Col
