restoring a vintage free sail yacht have named this as there is no name on the yacht after removing 4 colour layers of paint from the hull and 2 days sanding I repainted with 5 layers of paint rubbing down with 2000 grade between each coat

today test sailing on Woodbridge boat pond sailed like a dream

made up a set of temp sails in ripstop nylon photos to follow

over the next week will be trying to get used to setting sails in the wind if we get any and thinking if i need to add a pin rack ???

just found out that i do not need a pin rack as i have a slider on the back of the yacht

well thats 3 coats of dark green below water line and 3 coats gloss white above phots to follow

new sails in the making ordered 1 Egyptian cotton 400 thread count sheet 😊 vintage style no modern fabric for me 👍

with the braine gear installed the next job is to try to get single channel for rudder only and keep the braine gear installed photos to follow when i work it out ??? anybody help me out please

came up this and it works fine best of both worlds free and rc !!!👍

my first attempt at sewing a cotton sail 😭 needs a good ironing when i get better will do the Egyptian cotton sails 😁
