Escaping the confines of a dialysis chair, have just had a weekend near Glastonbury. Music festival out of date ? no, a visit to the Fleet Air Arm Museum at Yeovilton. Interesting collection of naval aircraft from the very early days up to the present. Even Concorde no. 2 which is on display courtesy of another organisation. But from our point of view, several excellent models of aircraft carriers from the early experimental ships with added flight decks to the present day Queen Elizabeth 2. Well worth a visit. And if cars are your thing, only a few miles away is the excellent Haynes Motor Museum.
Cheers, Nerys
