Hi Mike.
Good to hear from you.
This unit was I must admit purchased from EBay.It is a water based one with nebuliser and voltage regulator.
I however adapted the unit by removing the exhaust outlet and fitting my own copper 15mm fittings. The copper pipe passes up thru the superstructure and funnel.
I attach a flyer from the builder.
It is very effective.
Somewhere I have a video which I will look out and post.
I have subsequently built my own after buying all the components individually.
Regards Bill.
Never give up.It will come right in the end.

Hi DonS
Just dug out the mag and it is an American Frigate they were discussing so no use to you. There were articles on many British carriers and if I find anything I will let you know

Hi DonS
Model Boats in March 1968 had an article under period ships on her sister HMS Indefatigable. I will copy and send to you later to-day when I return home

As a follow up to my last, in the same series of books, there is one, "Aircraft Carrier Victorious", by David Hobbs. It is fairly complete for drawings. In that they of the same class, but are of different sub-classes, this might suit you. Mind you that these are original builders plans and as such are not the easiest to work from. It would seem pretty clear to me that your National Maritime Museum will have the plans you seek, if your bank account is up to snuff. That said, profile, plan view and stations should set you up pretty well and might not break the bank.
Good Luck.

Hi,
"British Warships of World War 2" by John Roberts has copies of the original plans of her sister, the Indefatigable. Not a complete at all, it does contain the flight deck, several deck views, internal profile and internal profile of the island along with four island deck views. The origin of the plans is the National Maritime Museum. Based on what is presented in the book, I would suspect that a complete set of plans is available, although I understand the price for copies is rather steep.
Sorry this is not complete solution for you.
