Nerys, if it had been planned in advance I would post it. But they came to visit this morning and offered to take the family out for the day as I was feeling a lot better. So we took a chance on Llandrindod and it was lovely had 3 hours sailing, followed by a trip up the Elan valley to see the dams and reservoirs ( muddy puddles), and showed the children the ruins of the flooded village .
Got home absolutely shattered but happy with our day out.
They want to visit an open day at a narrow guage railway factory next Saturday at Lea between Ross on wye, and Gloucester.
Probably let my son do the driving if we go, as my knee is playing up.
Cheers Colin.
