I built the Baby Bootlegger last year. Have enjoyed it on our local lake and it has had a lot of attention and questions from others.
Apart from the Bootlegger there are three Wee Nips, the Sea Commander, my IOM, Emma and the unknown blue yacht. Not shown are a Compass 65 and a Crandall Flyer under construction.
Retirement can be busy.

I am working on a similar model. The boat is the Baby Bootlegger. It achieved fame as the winner of the APBA Gold Cup in 1924 and in1925 the Dodge Memorial Trophy. The ship was designed by, George Crouch. The advantage of the design was that it permitted the construction of light and robust hull with minimum wind resistance.

A friend of mine has given me three sailing boats today due to health reasons.
He gave me two quite competitive Wee Nips and a sloop rig yacht that both of us cannot identify.
It is 5 ft long with a short removable centreboard. He tells me that around 5inches was removed from the stern many years ago. I don't know why .
As you can see in the photos she is very fine and narrow so imagine is also reasonably quick . Hopefully tomorrow and with good weather I will step the mast and rig the sails.
Very curious what make she is. Final photo is my fleet. I need a garage.🤞
