Spark ignition petrol. I use Stihl 50:1 ready mixed 95 ron no ethanol....
If it don't fit, use a hammer to make it fit....

It is indeed a nicely made engine. The Chinese have come on a lot over the last 10 years quality wise. I remember buying one of the first steam engines the put on the market, a Stuart D10 knock off. I had to rebuild it before it would run!
If it don't fit, use a hammer to make it fit....

I spotted this unusual little engine on You Tube a couple of weeks or so ago and just had to have one. So, after dipping into my top secret 'hobbies' fund, and 8 days of constant tracking checks, postie finally showed up with my engine. The model is of Karl Benz's horizontal 4 stroke engine. The quality of this little machine is exquisite, the early valve gear, (cam for exhaust and an eccentric driven slide valve) is faithfully reproduced, its intricate mechanism looks like an excercise in watch making. Ehough waffling, a picture says a thousand words as they say.....
