I could use help identifying a couple boats.

A club member identified the boat in the second picture as a 1948-1950 Chris Craft 25' Sportsman Sedan. Even knowing that, I still have not found anybody that made a kit for it. Any suggestions?
So far my collection resembles "The Island of Misfit Toys". I've picked up several boats that are old builds and have been neglected. I'm giving them the TLC they need, hoping to bring them back to their former glory. Once I get enough practice/ experience I intend to take on a full build.

We seem to have narrowed down the boat in the last picture.
Does anybody have any ideas/input on the other boats?

That drawing came from the Mariner’s Museum at Newport News, Virginia. Through their website, I reached their Chris Craft contact, who provided a liaison of drawings. I have gotten numerous drawings from them.

Although I have enlarged a number of the drawings on a large scale printer at a copy center, I did this one on an office copier and taped the pieces together, which saved a lot of money.

The Chris Craft ‘Bible’ (Blue Book) and catalogs on the Chris Craft society website have also been very useful.

That drawing of the commander does look a LOT like this boat. Probably what it is.
Is that drawing from the Dumas kit?
The side windows are very different from the ones on a Graupner Commodore.

The last boat is actually a 36’ Commodore, which has an aft cabin, instead of the open deck of the Commander. The cover’ in the photo is the roof of the aft cabin. It could be built with a modification of the Dumas kit.

Here is a side view of the Commander from the Maritime Museum in Virginia, as well as the open deck of the Commander.

Peejay, the Dumas 1244 Commander Express doesn't have the rear hatch cover circled in this pic, though.

Actually, I got that wrong. The kit I was thinking of is the Dumas kit. And I do believe that the 37’ model was the following year. 🙄

Peejay,
Are you referring to the last picture? I did lay a tape roughly alongside it, and it looks to be 35-36" (could be 37", if I had been more careful measuring).
Which Sterling kit would that be? The Sterling B15M 42' Corvette?

Could very well be based on the Stirling kit. If so, it should be 37”, as both models were the same length. Craftsmanship is outstanding!

I am helping the widow of a club member thin out her husband's collection. I have identified most of them, but a few have me stumped. I will post a couple of pictures but have more of each boat if you need different views.
I think the second to last is an Aerodyne Flyer and the last could be a modified Dumas 1954 Commander Express. But I am open to input.
Thanks for looking!
