Doogle, be wary of a servo that shows ANY intermittency after even momentary partial immersion. I wud swap it out. Why risk losing a $200 boat when a $20 servo dies ? Been there, done that, I was just fortunate that a young lady on a PWC rescued my dead-in-the-water hulk.

From observing another's experience the biggest problem is having the power on with the electronics all wet.

    Chris.
Sounds as if you may have got away with major damage, but I would keep an eye on that servo.
There but for the grace of God etc ๐Ÿคž

Fit bilge pump and some buoyancy to stop it happening again.
    Only a suggestion, cheers Colin.
Fair winds and calm waters, COLIN.

From my earlier post on Sunday regarding the impromptu submarine transformation of my patrol boat ๐Ÿšข at the lake -well after 4 days drying out in the "studio " I tentatively wired it all up again after cleaning all the electrical components with switch cleaner etc and hey presto, it all came back to life. The rudder servo was a bit buzzy to start with but then seemed to quieten down again. All appears on the surface (excuse the pun) to be good, a very fortunate escape this time, probably not the last. Probably start a rebuild blog soon on this one.
