The "submarine "arises

Well after the patrol boat decided to go "belly up ", sunk and retrieved dried and tested, time for a quick makeover and reseal. Main problem is that this was originally a rtr boat French made and form of seal between the deck and the hull was evident when I purchased it from a fete for the grand sum of £5.
I had made a seal which did work but obviously not perfect as it transpired later on. So now for something different, my neighbour recently had a new glasshouse and has given me a length of rubber window seal which sits very nicely inside the hull. The deck has yet to be screwed back into position but the initial dry fit is promising. Then to straighten out some of the rails which became bent in the rescue from the lake bed and then a forward gun to be reconstructed from the spares box. Followed by a run, hopefully no more submersible acts 😊
