    Yes I suppose it was it shudder to think of the recoil did to a boat of that type would have sunk almost anything firing that low down she only had the two main guns a top deck light guns they only built one and that was lost in special operation other small spec write up there is no other info about it

    The forward gun was a 88mm fixed all way down to the keel part of the structure of the boat would become own small boat clean out of the water

    Steven T, what you have just described sounds a bit like the American PT boats of World War II especially in the Pacific, but also the American river boats used in Vietnam for patrolling Coastal Waters and river deltas and up into the rivers themselves. Sometimes a mortar attached just below the front machine gun making it look like a double barrel with the lower Barrel being perhaps 10 cm. Pro boat produced two different kinds of RTR, a smaller one which is now out of production and a larger one right now that actually has twin props and twin rudders. The smaller one years ago had two jet drives

    I have searching through old naval prototype records they seem to come up with some odd ideas a gun boat type with rear multi firing gun and bigger deck gun using a sub type gun and that would have kicked a punch the power source was three petrol engines this was all part of the development of the Perkasa type
